This project was to revitalize an existing, unused auditorium by converting it into a new, state-of-the-art, 2 story Media Center. The second floor balcony was converted into classrooms that overlook the first floor. A new floor was installed over the existing stage to create a second floor open gallery. Windows were added to provide natural light that was previously non-existent. The sloping auditorium floor was built up creating a flat raised floor that allowed electric, data and HVAC to be concealed. Supporting programs included study rooms, café, circulation desk and an office for the Media Specialist.
